1957’den beri demir cevheri üretimini sürdüren Demir Export, bugün yarım asrı aşan tecrübesiyle çinko, kurşun, bakır cevheri konsantreleri ve altın konsantreleri üretimlerini gerçekleştirip, ülkemizin milli servetini ekonomiye kazandırarak etkin sorumluluk almaya devam etmektedir.
Faaliyetlerini sürdürdüğü bölgelerde sadece istihdam yaratarak bölgenin kalkınmasına fayda sağlamıyor, aynı zamanda sivil toplum örgütleri ile resmi kurum ve kuruluşlarla yaptığı işbirlikleriyle hayata geçirdiği projelerle, bölgelerin toplumsal kalkınmasına fayda sunuyor, çevrecilik faaliyetleriyle doğal hayatı önemseyen ve koruyan çalışmalar yapıyor ve yerel ticari hayata dahil olarak bölge ekonomisine katılıyor.
Demir Export, madencilik sektöründe ulusal mevzuatların ötesine geçen ISO 14001 Çevre Yönetim Sistemi, ISO 14064 Sera Gazı Yönetim Sistemi, ISO 14067 Ürün Karbon Ayak İzi Yönetim Sistemi, İSO 14046 Su Ayak İzi Yönetim Sistemi ve ISO 10001 Şikayet ve Geri Bildirim Yönetim Sistemi sertifikalarının sahibi olup, uluslararası bağımsız denetimlerle faaliyetlerini sürdürmektedir.
Uluslararası çevresel ve sosyal risklerin yönetilmesi için yayımlanan Ekvator Prensipleri, Demir Export tarafından uygulanmakta ve söz konusu uygulamalar yine bağımsız dış denetçiler tarafından sorumlu kuruluşlara raporlanmaktadır.
Demir Export, Dünya Doğa ve Doğal Kaynakları Koruma Birliği, Ramsar Sözleşmesi ve UNESCO olmak üzere birçok kriterin bir arada değerlendirildiği , gerekli önlemlerin alındığı calışma prensiplerini şirketin temel politikası olarak kabul etmektedir

Demir Export A.Ş. has been producing iron ore since 1957. With its experience of more than half a century, Demir Export continues to take active responsibility in bringing the national wealth of our country to the economy by producing zinc, lead, copper concentrates and gold from base metals.
Demir Export not only contributes to the development of the regions where it operates by creating employment, but also contributes to the social development of the regions with the projects it realizes in collaboration with non-governmental organizations and official institutions and organizations, carries out environmental activities that place emphasis on and provide protection to natural life, and engages in the regional economy by participating in the local commercial life.

Demir Export is a mining company with a deep-rooted history that has been producing for 65 years. Demir Export, which is the implementer of the firsts and the best in the mining sector in Turkey, has been the first to implement the fully-mechanized LTCC (Longwall Top Coal Caving) System in coal mining, and has been also the first to provide on-the-job training with virtual reality technology in its sector in Turkey. Demir Export also has the largest machine park and uses the largest dragline in our country.
